nine kitchen must haves from Crate & Barrel

Posted by on

As a newlywed one thing I have enjoyed is organizing our home, especially the kitchen. Crate & Barrel has been my latest obsession with functional & aesthetic kitchen items. I love that they have a modern and chic yet classic farmhouse style. So today I am sharing my top nine must haves from Crate & Barrel. Enjoy + remember the holiday season is comin' right up so make sure to add some to your wish list.

#1: Hue Green Mugs, Bowls + Plates

Fun fact: my favorite color is a subtle minty sage green, so of course I would choose this dinnerware set. These mugs and dishes are a contemporary porcelain pattern by designer Aaron Probyn that fit the bill for everyday use. I have displayed mine throughout my kitchen with some open concept shelving. I love how they are simple, timeless, & a little boho.

#2: Smeg Retro 4-Slice Toaster

Toast really does taste better from a Smeg. I love all things retro and this toaster is the perfect balance with the contemporary dinnerware. And how could I forget to mention how darlin' this toaster looks on my 1950's countertops. A complete image of classic, yet refined.

#3: Copper Measuring Cups & Spoons

Copper is an iconic kitchen metal. I love the little touch of class they bring to my baking scene + they even coordinate with my copper Kitchen Aid mixer.

#4: Tulip + parlor ice cream dish

First off, this combination makes the cutest bridal shower gift. I was given this by a dear friend & I love how the pretty dainty dishes look in my open concept shelving in my kitchen. I use the dishes for family dinners or to serve dessert, and they have a cute vintage twist that make you feel like you are at an old school ice cream parlor.

#5: Rosti Retro Mixing Bowls

I'm all about retro & these Rosti mixing bowls have a vintage vibe perfect for the modern boho chef. I was head over heels for these bowls because they have lids which make storing leftovers a breeze. They are also great for taking dishes to get-togethers.

#6: Mosser Jadeite 10" cake stand

Add a little pop of color to your kitchen, this cake stand is great for displaying sweets for a party or just everyday culinary decor. I use mine in a pie hutch for muffins or treats with a glass cloche.

#7 + #8:  Easy glass storage  + mini glass jug

Perfect for left overs, lunches, snacks & everything in between. I use the lidded clear storage containers almost everyday for one thing or another. The mini glass jug is perfect for storing dressings, or packing creamer & other liquids for trips & lunches. The best part of all, the lid has a great seal & makes it spill proof.

#9: Pyrex Ultimate Storage Set

Let me tell ya, it is impossible to find great name brand storage sets such as Pyrex or Anchor Hocking that have neutral color lids. Create & Barrel carries both brands storage sets with chic white lids... and I own both! Check them out you won't regret it.
