World's best layering & style investment: a denim chambray top
Okay, listen up. I am not kidding when I say you can wear a denim button down a million different ways. I truly believe that your wardrobe should be made up of pieces that you can style & wear more than one way. In this case, whenever your look is "missing" that little something special usually a chambray button down can do the trick. Check out my top 3 ways to style my denim button down:

[Frye Addie Double Zip Ankle Boots that you won't regret]
Replace your stiff & uncomfortable denim jacket with a lightweight denim button down. Tie the sides in little knots for extra style or even tie it together. Great for layering in the spring, summer + fall with dresses of all kinds. If it's too warm to wear the denim shirt over the top, keep the style by tying it around your waist with a dress & sneakers. I love to style dresses with ankle boots of all kinds but you could also pair this look with wedges, flat ankle boots, sneakers, or sandals. The choice is yours! Rock this look for a GNO, date night, fall festival, or family get together.

[Best Frye chukka boot + denim]
Fall calls for layers. Style this Lace tee with a denim button down over the top. It is super easy + super cute. I added a little extra detail with a statement Squash Blossom necklace, but you could style it with a simpler necklace or nothing at all. For shoes keep it classic with a Frye ankle boot or style with a modern sneaker. Don't forget to add some denim skinnies, I love Kancan denim because they hold their stretch and are manufactured in the good ole U.S. of A. As long as your denim shades are on opposite ends of the hue wheel, rock that denim on denim. This look would be something I would wear on an everyday basis, and could really be a go-to style for all events and occasions, right?

[best ever Frye Leather sneaker & stretchy joggers]
And lastly, I like to keep it comfy on any day that ends in Y, ha. So, for this look I took the super comfy knit Saylor tee with a simple black and white stripe and layered it with a denim top. Don't forget that stretchy pants are key for all day comfort so I added my favorite jogger of all time from Lole. A black legging or denim would fit the bill here too. I tied it all together with a simple cognac Frye sneaker ( I am slowly realizing that I have a Frye shoe problem). This look would be go-to for running errands, lunch with the girls, or traveling by plane or car.
Enjoy the simple style secrets + don't forget to add your own personal flare.
